The Concert Spot

You're in the right spot.

Role
Designer

Twenty years is a long run for a logo. The Concert Spot’s had been through a lot of shows, but it had one problem: put it on an artist’s artwork and it tried to be the headliner (and not in a good way). All that detail fought the art for attention, and the team said it just felt awkward.

So when it was time to rebrand, they didn’t want louder. They wanted personal. A concert can pack thousands of people into one room, but nobody experiences it as “one of thousands.” It’s your night, your song, your spot.

The goal: build a brand that felt personal, stood out from the competition, and knew how to share the stage with artist artwork, not steal it.

Highlights

  • New visual system for 20+ year brand.
  • Turned “spot” into a tagline system that welcomes fans, invites newcomers, and rallies volunteers.

For the volunteers who make every night happen. It turns the brand promise into something they get to deliver.
